High-End Steakhouse Stagecoach Country Roadhouse Opens in Sedona

The Saloon at Stagecoach Country Roadhouse

Stagecoach Country Roadhouse is now open as one of the most exciting new restaurants in the Arizona culinary scene. Surrounded by Sedona’s beautiful red mountains, the modern chophouse gives guests a taste of the Southwest in a sleek yet rustic environment with high-end steaks, live country music and mechanical bull riding.

Stagecoach Country Roadhouse is complete with two levels of outdoor dining, a rooftop bar with fireside seating and breathtaking views of Sedona’s red rock formations. The restaurant’s 20-seat wraparound bar is located next to the main stage that comes alive with music, dancing and mechanical bull riding on the weekends. Stagecoach offers private and semi-private dining rooms for parties, weddings and special events with seating up to 80 guests.

With a menu designed by James Beard-recognized chef Roberto Madrid, formerly of Deseo at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, Stagecoach Country Roadhouse continues the company’s tradition of high-quality culinary experiences with modern flair. Helmed by Executive Chef Bert Bonnarens, everything on the menu at Stagecoach Country Roadhouse is made from scratch and the freshest ingredients, including a prime-certified angus steak selection, BBQ straight off the Smoking Wagon, vegetarian options, dessert, and an impressive cocktail and wine list.

To go with the finest cuts of beef and meats, Stagecoach offers a gourmet sauce menu, classic side dishes, such as truffle fries and country baked beans, and fresh salads and soups featuring local flavors. Guests can also choose from an array of signature mézcal and tequila drinks, like the Sedona Sunset that’s made with Bruxo Mezcal, pineapple, guava, lime, Chambord and habanero bitters. Top the experience off with Stagecoach’s signature dessert, a decadent chocolate sponge cake with white ganache and Sedona Red Rock accoutrément.

The Newport Beach-based Wild Thyme Restaurant Group purchased the iconic West Sedona property, formerly the Olde Sedona Grill, in late 2021 before embarking on a multimillion-dollar transformation project that included a complete redesign. This is Wild Thyme Restaurant Group’s third Sedona restaurant that’s opened in the last 18 months. The company also manages Spoke & Wheel Tavern at the Los Abrigados Resort & Spa by Diamond Resorts in Sedona, and has plans to open more hospitality, dining and entertainment concepts.

“After being part of the Sedona community for close to a decade, we are thrilled to open an upscale steakhouse and lively saloon in the heart of town,” says Heinrich Stasiuk, Founder and CEO of Wild Thyme Restaurant Group. “There is nothing like a great steak or hearty BBQ after a long day on the trails, and Stagecoach is the perfect place to dust off your boots for outstanding food, drinks, and fun.”
