Waffles or grilled cheese? Hot dogs or ice cream? Whatever you’re craving, Scottsdale’s Food Truck Caravan is hosting a truck to fill it. Starting with tomorrow’s lineup, Food Truck Caravan has unveiled its May schedule of trucks. The food truck event takes places Saturday nights from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the northwest corner of 5th Ave. and Goldwater in Scottsdale.
May 17 Menime’s Wacky Waffle Truck, Frank’s, Bent Fork, Extra Virgin, Press Italian, Saffron JAK, and Super Farm Super Truck.
May 24 Aioli Burger, Sweet Magnolia, Rooster, Grilled Cheese Truck, Phil the Grill, Extra Virgin, Super Farm Super Truck, Menime’s Wacky Waffle Truck and Udder Delights.
May 31 Grilled Cheese Truck, Queso Good, Frank’s, Sweet Magnolia, Super Farm Super Truck, Spice it Up, Aioli Burger, Saffron JAK, The Great Pho King, Frosted Frenzy, Menime’s Wacky Waffle Truck and Udder Delights. In addition, the Dietz & Watson Flavor Tour Truck will be on the lot. They are celebrating 75 years and four generations of Quality Above All Else with a Flavor Tour throughout America. As part of the evening celebration, Dietz & Watson will supply meats and cheese to all of the trucks on the lot to compete in the first-ever People’s Choice Throw Down. Participating trucks will have 30 minutes to create the best dish they can with the supplied Dietz & Watson ingredients. The audience will vote on the best dish to choose a winner. The winner will receive Dietz & Watson product, as well as a trophy and magnetic plaque for their truck.
