Last week, Fogo de Chao, Scottsdale’s renowned Brazilian steakhouse, introduced lunch service, much to the delight of Valley meat eaters. Fogo de Chão will serve lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fogo de Chão first opened their doors for dinner only in Scottsdale in December 2008. Lunchtime diners will receive the full Fogo experience which includes unlimited servings of 15 different delectable cuts of slow-roasted meats (my favorite of which is Fogo de Chão’s signature steak, picanha), a stunning gourmet salad bar (think smoked salmon, plenty of delicious cheeses and, of course, veggies galore), and a variety of traditional Brazilian side dishes (I simply cannot get enough of the warm, gooey cheese bread and caramelized bananas) all for a special lunch price of $28.50. And for those guests who just want to partake of the gourmet salad bar, that option is available for just $19.50. 6300 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, 480.609.8866, http://www.fogodechao.com/.
