Local First Arizona introduces a new event for wine enthusiasts, this time in Flagstaff. FLAVOR Food and Wine Festival will bring together the best of Arizona’s best wineries, restaurateurs and live entertainment on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Warner’s Nursery.
“Arizona is ripe with award-winning wineries and FLAVOR is the perfect way to bring so many different vintners together,” says Victoria Leone, event director and Flagstaff Membership Manager for Local First Arizona, in a press release. “We’re excited to showcase the best of Arizona’s wines and restaurateurs along with our event partner, Over the Rainbow Butterfly Garden.”
Attendees will stroll the grounds of Warner’s Nursery with a keepsake wine glass in hand to sip and sample from wineries and restaurants while perusing local retail vendors and enjoying local entertainment, including aerial artists, indie/rock duo 76th Street, as well as renowned guitarist Sky Black. Page Spring Cellars, will be pouring at FLAVOR. Other vendors include Del Rio Springs Vineyards, Su Vino Vineyards, Shift Kitchen, Merkin Pizza Wagon, Sweet Shoppe Candy Store, and many more.
The two tiers of admission are VIP and general admission:
General Admission entry tickets are $35 and include: Six tasting tickets, one commemorative tasting glass, and one free reusable water bottle.
VIP Admission tickets are $50 and include:10 tasting tickets, one commemorative tasting glass, and one reusable water bottle. VIP ticket holders have access to a special VIP section with live music and passed samples from local vendors to avoid standing in line.
Additional tasting tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth for $1 per ticket and used for tastings/samplings or glasses of wine/small plates from any winery or restaurant.
