The new full-service restaurant and bar opens at Tempe Marketplace on Tuesday, December 13 at 4 p.m. with a grand opening  celebration featuring a ribbon cutting ceremony and pizza cutting event.

“Since our first location opened in Arizona, we’ve been welcomed with open arms and feel grateful to our loyal fanbase,” says owner Marc Malnati. “Our team is excited to expand in the Valley and open a new full-service restaurant in the Tempe area. We’re thrilled to bring our authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza to Tempe Marketplace and become immersed in the vibrant and thriving community.”

Located at 27 South McClintock Drive, adjacent to Barrio Queen and The Keg Steakhouse, the 4,900-square-foot space features a dining room, full-service bar and outdoor patio, and can seat up to approximately 150 guests. The pizzeria will offer dine-in, carryout, delivery and drop-off catering services.

The menu highlights the pizzeria’s signature deep dish pizzas that are famous for staying true to Chicago’s original pizza style with a secret recipe that has been passed down through generations of the Malnati family. In addition to the award-winning deep dish pizzas, customers can enjoy thin crust pizza along with signature appetizers, salads, pastas and desserts.

Since first opening the family pizza company in 1971, Lou Malntati’s has not only become famous for their original deep dish pizza recipe, top-notch quality and hospitality, but for giving back and supporting local communities, charities, schools, organizations and more.

The pizzeria hosted a pre-opening Charity Donation Night at the new Tempe location on December 11, which benefited the Arizona State University Foundation with 100% of the dinner’s sales. The Malnati tradition of generosity will continue through youth incentive and donation programs, and by working with local organizations and surrounding communities in Tempe.

The new restaurant will be open for dinner starting on Tuesday, December 13 at 4 p.m. and open daily for lunch and dinner service beginning on Wednesday, December 14 at 11 a.m. Store hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Learn more at loumalnatis.com.
