There’s no better place to celebrate Memorial Day weekend than here in the Valley. The sun is out and these spots are kicking off the summer season this holiday with food, fun and good deals.

Diego Pops

In the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, the modern taco spot is celebrating Memorial Day fiesta-style with its popular Taco Monday specials of $3 tacos all day. Guests can also sip on signature Diego Margaritas for $6 and enjoy half off appetizers during happy hour from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. 

Hash Kitchen 

Enjoy a Memorial Day weekend brunch at Hash Kitchen, home of the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Made for two, their $28 Big Hash Tequila Sunrise is summer in a cocktail with 100-percent blue agave tequila, muddled orange and pomegranate grenadine, all served in a 50-ounce fish bowl glass with candy sharks as garnishes. 

Luckys Indoor Outdoor

Roosevelt Row’s vintage outdoor patio bar is throwing a pre-Memorial Day party on Sunday, May 29, starting at 4 p.m. Enjoy live music by Rio Grande from 6​​9 p.m. followed by three DJs, including Gnarly Brown, OH Allen the DJ and DJ Solomon. MozzArepas will be serving their original cheesy arepas until 1 a.m. Must be 21 or older to attend. 

Pedal Haus Brewery

Get your choice of beer with the $14 specialty Brat and Tots deal at Pedal and Huas during their Memorial Day special. Military guests will receive the Friends & Family discount of 15% off all purchases in honor of the holiday. The Memorial Day celebration is all day at all Pedal Haus Brewery locations. 

Pita Jungle

Let Pita Jungle do the cooking for you this Memorial Day weekend with their healthy family meals to go. Starting at $43, customers have the choice of one starter, a side or salad, a pita or bowl, a choice of protein, greens and sauce, and a dessert. Customers can also purchase Pita Jungle’s popular lemonade and iced tea by the gallon. Happy hour platters are available for dine-in and takeout at participating locations. 

Roaring Fork

Memorial Day dinner is on at Roaring Fork with their Dinner On Us promotion. To commend those who have served our country, guests will receive a “buy one, get one free” offer all evening long starting at 4 p.m. Signature wood-fired favorites at Roaring Fork include a bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, all natural black angus steaks and sugar-cured duck breast. 

Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill

This Memorial Day, Salt and Lime is pouring into Monday with their popular house margaritas on special for $5, with guests’ choice of frozen or on the rocks. Military and first responders get 20% off everytime they dine at Salt and Lime, and kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree every Monday. You can also still catch the Scottsdale restaurant’s head-to-toe Cinco de Mayo transformation through the end of May.

STK Steakhouse

Celebrate Memorial Day May 27–30 at STK with a red, white and blue steak topping. For $19.95, enjoy a filet topped with a lobster tail, blue corn tortilla and garlic cream. Veterans, gold star families, active military and front-line workers will receive 20% off on Memorial Day only. 

The Montauk
