Buck & Rider Seafood Restaurant Opens New, Larger Location in North Scottsdale

Buck & Rider

The Valley’s popular seafood restaurant Buck & Rider has opened a second location in North Scottsdale, offering diners the same high-quality dining experience in an even bigger setting.

Located on the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard at The Shops at Chauncey Ranch, the new 10,000-square-foot restaurant is twice the size of the original Camelback location in Phoenix and is designed to look and feel like seafood eateries on the coast.

The space features a large main dining room that can seat up to 450 guests, a raw seafood bar and a 10-seat sushi bar, as well as an indoor and outdoor patio designed for lounging and formal eating, plus three private dining rooms that offer intimate settings for parties and events.

To assure guests receive the freshest and highest standard of seafood, the raw bar is time-stamped and updated with fresh coastal seafood flown in daily, while the kitchen is open and visible to guests. The open layout allows the Phoenix restaurant to be as transparent as possible with its customers and provide a unique, behind-the-scenes experience for diners, according to Buck & Rider CEO Adam Strecker in a Phoenix Business Journal article

The North Scottsdale location serves a daily menu featuring a premium selection of fresh seafood such as handpicked oysters from the west and east coast, shellfish and caviar, seafood platters and market vegetables. Buck & Rider also offers handcrafted cocktails, spirits and wines plus happy hour bites like the Baja Shrimp Ceviche and Smoked Trout Dip.

“We could not wait to bring the nostalgic Buck & Rider coastal dining experience to the backyard of all of our continued loyalists in North Scottsdale, who have been driving across town to see us at the Camelback location for years,” says Strecker, in a press release. “As we look to the next era of growth and strategically unveil every new Buck & Rider in the most thoughtful locations, each will showcase an individual identifying look and inspiration, while equally maintaining our commitment to flying in the freshest seafood from around the world every single day, our impeccable service, hospitality and menu selections Buck & Rider has become known for.”

Buck & Rider in North Scottsdale is open for dinner Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Happy hour is everyday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and lunch and brunch hours are coming soon.
