On Friday, May 8, Arizona Foothills Magazine hosts its annual Best of Our Valley Bash to honor and celebrate the winners of this year’s Best of Our Valley contest. This year’s party, which promises to be a great one, takes place at 7 p.m. at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and event-goers can enjoy live music, drinks, hobnobbing with Valley tastemakers and, most importantly, food.
At the Best of Our Valley Bash, expect to enjoy sample sizes of eats from favorite local food trucks like The Roasted Shallot, 2 Fat Guys Grilled Cheese and Lulu’s Italian Ice for $2 to $3 each. The Roasted Shallot dishes up tasty tacos, brats, salads and more white 2 Fat Guys Grilled Cheese is known for interesting takes on its namesake sandwich. For dessert, sample something sweet from Lulu’s Italian Ice, in flavors like blood orange creamsicle, mango margarita, coconut and more.
For night owls, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will be keeping its new Toro Latin Restaurant + Rum Bar (pictured) open late that evening–until 12 a.m.–for those in search of an after-party. In addition to more than 110 rum offerings, Toro’s special late-night menu will include outstanding brunch offerings, including breakfast burritos, egg sandwiches and truffle French fries, alongside a lineup of the restaurant’s famed suviche (sushi meets ceviche).
