10…9…8…It’s almost time to celebrate 2011! To do so surrounded by deliciousness, here are several Valley restaurants offering up a taste bud-tantalizing New Year’s feast. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Bourbon Steak, La Hacienda and The Grill at TPC Scottsdale are all offering delicious multicourse New Year’s Eve dinners. Crave a nourishment on New Year’s Day? The Scottsdale resort’s LV Bistro is featuring a special Recovery Day Brunch. Brunch includes fresh fruit, yogurt, smoothies, omelet station, pancakes, eggnog French toast, pastries, bagels, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, roasted potatoes, chicken apple and pork sausage, applewood smoked bacon, smoked salmon and sturgeon, bloody mary ceviche shooters, grilled flat iron steak, pan-seared salmon, cheeses and desserts. elements The restaurant at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain will feature a four-course feasting of butternut squash and goat cheese ravioli with toasted pine nut butter, sage and pecorino and roasted dover sole with haricot vert, banana chutney, purple yams and vanilla curry sauce. Sushi Roku Visit Sushi Roku at W Scottsdale not only for a tempting sushi feast but for a spectacular fireworks show to ring in 2011. Specials include half-price bottles of wine and sake. $40 food purchase minimum. www.sushiroku.com.
Fox Restaurant Concepts On New Year’s Eve, Bloom, The Greene House, NoRTH, and Olive & Ivy will feature a three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu for $55 per person from 5:30 p.m. to close or an early evening special of $45 per person from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Modern Steak will offer a three-course prix-fixe menu for $85 per person from 5:30 to close or an early seating special of $65 per person from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Blanco Tacos + Tequila will serve its full menu, with a special New Year’s Eve price of $40 per person after 5 p.m., which includes one starter, two entrees, one dessert and two House Margaritas; a D.J. will mix music from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. www.foxrc.com.
Trader Vic’s The Scottsdale-based Hotel Valley Ho restaurant will ring in the new year right with a special menu that features Volcano shrimp, Chinese oven-roasted beef tenderloin and much more.
