The RARE Steak Championship is making its Phoenix debut. On November 12, Salt River Fields will host more than 25 of the Valley’s top steakhouses and restaurants as they compete in one of the country’s premier culinary competitions. RARE invites guests to sample steak, enjoy premium spirits and signature cocktails, experience entertainment and help crown the city’s steak champions, taking place from 6 to 10 p.m.
Presented by Newport Meat & Seafood and produced by DiningOut Media + Events, the RARE Steak Championship is a national food and beverage festival that brings together restaurants, chefs, premium proteins, craft cocktails and culinary talent in major U.S. food markets.
A portion of the proceeds from the Rare Steak Competition Phoenix will benefit Musically Fed, whose mission is to mobilize the music industry in the fight against hunger.
More than 25 restaurants will compete across two categories, including traditional and creative, showcasing both classic cuts and innovative interpretations. Participating restaurants can also choose to create a signature cocktail pairing designed to complement their dish. All attendees have a choice from three different ticket pricings: general admission, first taste, and the VIP experience. General admission is between $75 and $125 with entry starting at 7 p.m. First taste is $115-$175 with exclusive early bird entry starting at 6 p.m. The VIP experience is $200-$275, and includes 6 p.m. entry plus access to the VIP-exclusive Omskase Challenge, premium spirits and cocktails, private lounge areas, dedicated bars and VIP restrooms.
