Porta Via announced plans to open its first restaurant in Arizona in early 2027 at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The family of Southern California restaurants is known for its seasonal California cuisine, warm hospitality and neighborhood atmosphere.
The Scottsdale location will mark the fifth for Porta Via, joining Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Pacific Palisades and Palm Desert. Since opening as a four-table bistro and deli counter in Beverly Hills in 1994, the company has expanded attentively, selecting locations based on one leading principle: creating restaurants that become part of the communities they serve.
“Porta Via Scottsdale represents an exciting new chapter for our company,” said founder and owner Peter Garland. “We’ve always grown thoughtfully rather than quickly. Every location we’ve opened has been chosen because we believed it could become a true neighborhood restaurant.”

The 6,300-square-foot restaurant will be located in the West Luxury Wing, featuring a spacious dining room, inviting bar and outdoor patio seating. The Scottsdale location will embrace the warmth and colors of the desert while still remaining true to the clean, timeless aesthetic that characterizes the brand.
Porta Via will serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Guests can expect to see the restaurant’s signature dishes along with some seasonal features, a wine list, handcrafted cocktails, premium coffee and the same warm hospitality that has defined the company for decades.
