Crudo in Arizona unveiled an all-new seasonal food and cocktail menu to end the summer on a high note. Crudo features several new taste adventures including pecan wood-grilled mozzarella, and the new Whole Roasted Pig Head, served for the entire table with gourmet sauces and accompaniments for $60 (72-hour notice). Bar Crudo also features new late-summer cocktails including the Salt River Project (Tapatio Reposado Tequila, salted watermelon syrup, lime, ancho reyes chile liqueur, Peychaud’s Bitters & Galliano Authentico served tall over ice).
This Saturday, August 23, Fired Pie will be giving away one free pizza OR salad (per person) at their newest location at the Collier Center in Downtown Phoenix. This is for dine-in only. The fast casual restaurant is giving out the free entrees from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (at this specific location) in honor of the opening of their sixth restaurant. The newest location is at 201 E. Washington Street #111 in Phoenix.
Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill wants to prove fast can be healthy, too. For an entire week, Garbanzo is giving free kids meals to help provide healthy and fast alternatives to parents (August 24-30). After the week of healthy festivities, every following Tuesday is “Kids Eat Free Day” (ages 10 and under with the purchase of an adult entree) at Valley locations of Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill. Also, every guest of all ages is greeted with a free falafel everyday, always.
By popular demand, Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse is now offering its award-winning barbecue to-go. Available for parties of 10 or more, the menu includes smokehouse favorites like smoked brisket, turkey leg, and macaroni and cheese.
Two and a half months after opening its doors, Southern Rail in Phoenix is offering lunch service from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Diners can enjoy Southern Rail’s down-home lunch dishes like shrimp remoulade with brioche toast, pan seared trout, barley and curly kale salad as well as a selection of classic po’ boys. And stop in for Social Hour from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The restaurants take on happy hour features $4 draft beers, select wines by-the-glass for $5, select small plates for $6 and select house-made cocktails (menu attached) for $7, available at the bar and community table.
Available through October, Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails in Phoenix has launched a unique new cocktail menu.
The Clever Koi in Phoenix has whipped up late-summer food and drink menus featuring several seasonal new delights, including the Miso Grilled Calamari Steak ($12), a small plate bursting with big flavors thanks to the accompanying fingerling potato salad, green beans and pickled onions (pictured).
