As Phoenix heads into its sunniest season, Sheraton Phoenix Downtown is welcoming summer with fresh culinary offerings, festive holiday specials and new hotel packages designed to turn a quick getaway into a full-on staycation experience.

At the center of the seasonal refresh is Carcara, the hotel’s signature restaurant, which unveiled new spring and summer menus inspired by Southwestern flavors and seasonal ingredients.
New dinner offerings include Berkshire Baby Backs with ancho tamarind glaze and house-made cornbread, Crujiente Crab Tacos served in blue corn shells with lime crema and jicama, and the Fork Tender Short Rib paired with citrus-smoked carrot purée and charred citrus jus. Lighter dishes like the Sunshine Hydration Salad layer heirloom melon, cucumber, mint, feta and citrus vinaigrette into a refreshing warm-weather option.

Lunch and brunch menus are also getting a seasonal upgrade thanks so dishes like the Pollo Verde en Fuego sandwich, Bananas Foster Cinnamon Roll and a Peaches & Cream Danish. Desserts range from the Mojito Tres Leches with lime sponge cake and mojito-spiked sauce to the Sonoranpolitan, a gelato trio featuring horchata, Oaxacan chocolate and prickly dragonberry served in a house-made waffle bowl.

Memorial Weekend will bring even more seasonal flavor to the property from May 22-25. At Carcara, guests can order a pairing that includes the Prickly Pork Belly dish alongside a Del Bac Old Fashioned. Poolside at Breeze Bar, the Blue Liberty Colada blends Bacardi, blue curaçao and pineapple for a tropical cocktail, while &More by Sheraton will serve up the Watermelon Splash, a mix of watermelon liqueur, Aperol and lemon.

The downtown hotel also unveiled the “Phoenix Summer Staycation” package available May 28 through September 12. The package includes a $50 food and beverage credit, self-parking, late checkout and early check-in when available. Guests are also welcomed with a signature Mango Cooler made with mango, green tea, lime and ginger beer, available as either a cocktail or mocktail.

For baseball fans, the hotel’s Diamondbacks Game Day Getaway package adds an extra perk to downtown stays with two Home Dugout Reserve tickets to select home games, plus parking and late checkout.
With seasonal cocktails, rooftop vibes, elevated Southwestern cuisine and walkable access to downtown events and sports, Sheraton Phoenix Downtown is making a strong case for staying close to home this summer – preferably with a frozen drink in hand. Learn more at marriott.com.
