The Peak Phoenix Unveils $120 Million Transformation

Hilton Phoenix Resort at The Peak has officially rebranded as The Peak Phoenix, a Hilton Resort, marking the completion of a $120 million transformation designed to elevate the property while honoring its longstanding place in the hospitality scene.

The rebrand coincides with the opening of the Agave Tower and Agave Courtyard, formerly known as the North Tower, as well as the new Spa & Fitness at The Peak, The Peak Pool & Bar, an adults-only outdoor oasis and updated meeting and event spaces. The resort recently earned the AAA Four Diamond designation.

The transformation has taken place in phases since Pivotal Group acquired the property in 2024. The first phase, unveiled in April, introduced the Ocotillo Tower, formerly the South Tower, featuring completely renovated suites. Guests also gained access to The Pantry, a grab-and-go market serving Starbucks coffee, and The Living Room, a new lobby gathering space with all-day dining, multiple seating areas and fire pits. The resort’s popular water park also received new poolside cabanas and a refreshed identity as The Peak Water Park.

The final phase brings the Agave Tower and Agave Courtyard fully online, along with the Palacio Building, a flexible 5,900-square-foot mountainside meeting and event venue offering sweeping city views. Additional openings planned for late fall include Emberance, a signature live-fire Southwest restaurant, and The Garden at the Peak, an outdoor wedding and event lawn with views of Piestewa Peak.

“When we set out to reimagine the hotel, we knew the transformation deserved a new resort name to match,” said Julia Najafi, Vice President and Principal of Pivotal Group. “The Peak honors everything in this property’s history and story while embracing who we are becoming: an elevated destination where art, design and hospitality meet to create a vibrant pinnacle of desert style and elevated experience for our guests.”

The Agave Tower features 224 fully upgraded all-suite accommodations, including larger Ambassador Suites and the property’s largest accommodation, the Presidential Suite. At 1,760 square feet, the suite features multiple bathrooms, two gas fireplaces, an expansive living area and an oversized soaking tub.

The Agave Courtyard also mirrors the amenities of the Ocotillo Courtyard, offering a climate-controlled outdoor setting designed for year-round use. Retractable shade canopies, state-of-the-art fans and a misting system help keep the space comfortable, while its flexible layout accommodates outdoor meetings, special events, guest activities and outdoor games.

“Completing this is a milestone we’ve been working toward with real anticipation, and it marks the moment The Peak comes to life,” General Manager Dale Moseke said. “Every space, from The Living Room to the Ocotillo and Agave Tower suites to Spa & Fitness at The Peak, was reimagined with one goal in mind: to create a place that feels as inspiring as the art and rich, historic Sonoran Desert culture that defines us.”

Along with its expanded accommodations and amenities, the resort’s recent AAA Four Diamond designation recognizes its commitment to elevated hospitality, accommodations and guest service. For more information, visit thepeakphoenix.com.
