This spring’s art series concludes with a special event weekend, April 11-14.

Community Outreach

The excitement begins on Thursday with a Community Outreach Event at the Paradise Valley home of artist Beth Ames Swartz. A percentage of the proceeds from her art sales, as well as those of Wolf Kahn and Hunt Slonem, will be donated to the buyer’s charity of choice (JDRF or A New Leaf). With raffle tickets available for $300, up to 10 winners will receive a Beth Ames Swartz art piece (total value $1,500). For information, call 866.317.8016.

 Art Indulgence Package

During the spring season finale, enjoy a festive weekend with wildlife sculptor John Maisano and painter Frank Gonzales, whose individual styles captivate Santa Fe collectors at the Beals & Abbate Gallery. Make a weekend of it Thursday through Sunday, April 11-14, with a special package for art lovers who want to meet these talented artists. Starting at $1437 for two, the package includes:

• Three nights in a luxurious Mountain Casita
• Gourmet dinner with the artists on Friday, April 12
• Personal demonstrations showing how each artist works, throughout Friday and Saturday
• Wine and cheese closing reception on Saturday afternoon

Dinner with the Artists

If you have other plans for the weekend but still want to enjoy an evening with John Maisano and Frank Gonzales, choose the option of Friday night dinner at $75 per person, plus tax & gratuity. Along with the artist’s stories of their journeys, the event will feature specialties from Gruet Winery of New Mexico — renowned for their sparking wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

For reservations at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, 5700 E. McDonald Drive in Scottsdale, call 866.317.8016 or click sanctuaryaz.com.
