Make memories at Hotel Valley Ho and Mountain Shadows, two Valley resorts preparing a long weekend full of activities and adventures for guests looking to kick off summer with a splash.
Valley Ho will host live music from 1to 5 p.m. May 24-26 courtesy of DJ Pulse, who will be on the turn tables on Friday. DJ Adrian Michaels will continue the fun on Saturday and DJ Darkslide will cap off the weekend. Guests can savor featured poolside bites and drink specials throughout.
Festivities at Mountain Shadows kick off with a sunset champagne sabering on Friday at 6:30 p.m., with Veuve on special throughout the weekend for $19 a glass and $85 a bottle. A sunset yoga session on the lawn will be available every night during the holiday weekend at 6:30 p.m. and on Friday nights during the rest of the season. Tickets are $15 for residents and free for resort guests.
One Saturday a month at noon, Hearth ’61 will hold a Brunch & Learn event, featuring a different theme and a demo. Enjoy an intimate setting in the private dining room as chefs show you how to prepare a dish while you sip the featured beverage, plus take home a recipe to test in your kitchen.
After the demo, savor a three-course brunch in the dining room, including the two featured demo courses, dessert, and a paired glass of wine or cocktail. The series kicks off with summer salads on June 14.
After a relaxing yoga session guests can head over to the Hearth ’61 bar area for live music on Friday and Saturday night from 8 to 11 p.m. Additionally, a DJ accompanied by a live saxophone will be playing from noon to 3 p.m. at the pool on Saturday and Sunday, setting an upbeat and sophisticated poolside atmosphere.
