Paddle into the Sunset

Paddle Into the Sunset

October 5, 7:30 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind paddle board yoga class will have you zen-ed out in no time. Amid live music and on-board meditation, Jay Graves—who pulls double duty as your SUP yoga instructor and musician—will lead the class. After the water journey, hop onto land and enjoy a surf-inspired Longboard cocktail. $65 per person. Includes class, parking and cocktail.

Wine Down Wednesday

October 10, 5:30 p.m.

Recharge with this sunset session on the Mountain Shadows lawn. A complimentary, mat-based Pilates session with Studio Vervethat will kick things off with a peaceful, ab-working class before heading into our favorite part: extended happy hour pricing in The Living Room. Enjoy select wines and bites at killer prices. Guests will also have the chance to donate to Arizona Friends of the Homeless. Self parking available for $3 per vehicle. Bring your own mat.

Rise, Shine & HIIT

October 13, 10:15 a.m.

The new F45 Training Biltmore studio is bringing their HIIT workout to the lawn so you can work up a sweat in paradise. DJ Heather will bring the soundtrack while working attendees through different stations for a total-body workout. RSPV required via MINDBODY or by email. Event and parking is complimentary.

The Ghoul Down

October 28, 6 to 8 p.m.

Mountain Shadows’ Cool Down series is getting a freakish spin with this Halloween-inspired poolside yoga class and evening dip. Dress the part as your favorite scary creature or zombie and partake in a yoga class led by wellness witch Veronica Clark. After the one-hour session, morph into a creature from the black lagoon (or just throw on your fave swimsuit) and hop into the moonlit pool while sipping a spooky cocktail and grooving to DJ Soloman’s monster mashups. $35 per person. Includes class, parking and cocktail. Bring your own mat.
