The former vacation home of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is now available to rent.
Located in Monaco’s posh Cote d’Azur overlooking the sparkling sea, the Villa La Vigie is one of the most prestigious villas on the French Riviera thanks to its history, architecture, and unique location. Lagerfeld often spent summers at the luxury villa in the South of France for well over a decade.
Accessible by private drive, Villa La Vigie stands at a grand 600 square meters (or about 6,458 square feet) spread out over three floors. Up to 10 to 12 guests can live comfortably among the six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two walk-in-closets. The ground floor also features a library and billiard room, as well as a modern kitchen outfitted with the latest appliances.
Guests are first greeted in the monumental entrance hall where a superb staircase leads to the upper floors that immediately set the tone: spaciousness, brightness, prestige. The hall flows into the central lounge, which then leads into the dining room and another large lounge before opening out to the vast terrace that faces a beautiful wooded park.
Offered by Edge Retreats, the villa is rented for exclusive use in its entirety and is available for rent by the week or month until December 31, 2022.
