The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has introduced a fantastic selection of new vacation packages and cool-down activities and amenities that will – dare I say – make it tempting to not leave the Phoenix heat all summer long.
At the Sonoran Splash Pool, body surf or boogie board down the SplashRider X-treme rolling water pipe. Every Friday and Saturday night at the pool, families can enjoy black lights, lasers, fog, LED hula hooping and glow-in-the-dark bubbles to the pulsating techno beats of a live DJ at the Techno Glo Party. If you’re looking for something more low key, chill out at the South Pool watching movies while floating on inner tubes and munching on snacks at the Dive In Movies.
Embark on an adrenaline-filled adventure at The Zipper, soaring across the resort’s lagoons on a 37-foot-high zip line at up to 25 mph. After, relax and indulge in “Feel Good Fridays” at the Well & Being Spa at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the spa will offer “Lunch & Enlighten,” a healthy spa lunch with an informative talk from the spa’s own fitness, nutrition and beauty team. For $50, the lunch will include access to the spa facility, pool and exercise classes for the entire day. A 45-minute facial, manicure and pedicure or massage can be added for $99.
Meanwhile, Bourbon Steak will offer a Post-Pool Pre-Fixe Menu in addition to its regular menu. The new summer menu will include three courses and choices of summer salads, chilled soups, market-fresh fish, Jidori chicken, mesquite grilled C.A.B. skirt steak, chef’s selection of sides and topped off with vanilla crème brulee, warm nutmeg beignet or a trio of house-made sorbet. Bourbon Steak’s summer menu is $55 and includes a wine pairing with the main course.
