Let fourth of July be more than just a firework show this year. With a stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, families can enjoy the Fairmont Freedom Fest on July 3 and 4, complete with concerts, fireworks, all-American fare, military tributes, vintage air shows, and giving back.
A percentage of proceeds from every vacation package during Freedom Fest will benefit Snowball Express, Honor House, and Friends of Freedom, all nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans, active duty service members and their families.
During the vintage air show, guests will watch retired veterans fly a dozen war planes from Korea and Vietnam over the resort, and pictures and histories of the planes will be on display in the main lobby. Make sure to stay for the whole show too because the finale will be a spectacular surprise you don’t want to miss.
The Freedom Fest, complimentary for resort and restaurant guests, will feature several musical performances with a firework intermission. Water lovers can celebrate at the Sonoran Splash Pool Complex with water rides, slides, eating contests, DJs and more. For the craziest adrenaline junkies, take a 25 mph ride down the 240-foot zip line, available weekends all summer long.
For guests interested in staying at this resort for the Freedom Fest, rates run at $219/night for a 2-night stay, and $179/night for a 3-night stay. For more information or to book a reservation, call (480)585-4848.
