Title: Media Director, Zion & Zion

Married/Single: Single

Kids: 1 son, 18 years old

City you live in: Phoenix

A typical day in my life includes…

walking the dogs, making a green breakfast shake, a day at work with my super smart colleagues at Zion & Zion, a spin class if I’m feelin’ it and a low-effort dinner like cheese & crackers.

I was born…

at the same hospital that my son was born in (Good Samaritan, Phoenix).

My favorite thing about Arizona…

Flagstaff. I have the best memories there from my NAU days, and love that now that my son is up there, I will be enjoying a new chapter in that setting.

I’m listening to…

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers (always), The Black Moods (lately) and Pandora’s John Mayer channel.

My family…

is small, but more and more connected as the years tick on.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Bill Maher. I love his blend of comedy and current events, and it think it would be very entertaining!

One thing I cannot live without…

pumpkin pie. I was into pumpkin everything as a young kid, back when you had to make pumpkin things yourself because it wasn’t e v e r y w h e r e.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

the lead in the musical, Annie and a Marine Biologist.

I’m inspired by…

positive people.

The one person who motivates me is…

my son. Nothing else matters if he’s not proud of me.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

the lack of environmental awareness and/or poor effort made by too many people to conserve resources. Not one other issue matters if we don’t have clean air and water. We need to make serious changes now.

The perfect day would be…

walking around a new city, just exploring, sightseeing, eating.

My first job was…

at a toy store – so fun!

My favorite escape…

wineries. Something about them has a fall vibe that I am so drawn to. And there’s wine. 🙂

My life…

is full, blessed and NEVER boring

I’m currently working on…

making good nutrition a daily habit and learning to play the guitar.

Always…

LOVE. Even when it’s hard. Oh, and always bring your own reusable bags to the grocery store.

Never…

underestimate the amazing vegetable gardens you can grow in the desert!

Favorite Quote…

“Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength.”

Biggest Dream…

that there’s another great love story out there somewhere for me and that one day, he and I will be traveling the world together.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people who don’t wash their hands properly and virtual/automated answering phone systems.
