A typical day in my life includes… Working on my passion project The Wine Collective of Scottsdale, meeting awesome people that make wines, sell wines, spreading the wine knowledge to the guests and teammates. going for a walk or workout, cooking breakfast and ending the day with quality time with hubby or friends.

My favorite thing about Arizona… Friendliness of people, diversity of flora and fauna, driving the state to experience wine country, fall in Sedona, snowing in Flagstaff.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… Not a Homemaker! Growing up in India having a career was not an option, but secretly I wanted to be a fashion designer.
I’m inspired by… Hard-working women business owners like Brooke from Vino Stache, Lisa Fountaine from Fountaine Co. and Lisa from Carolina Chocolates, to name a few!
The one person who motivates me is… my teammates, their work ethic amazes me!
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Educating kids from the age of 8yrs and up to learn to cook the basics, to understand how money works and how being active will make you happy and healthy your whole life.
The perfect day would be… wake up without an alarm, nice cup of coffee, cooking a perfect omelet, Pilates, happy hour with good friends and dinner with my hubby!

Bio on yourself/company: After moving from DC to Scottsdale, Zoya Vora-Shah knew Arizona was the place she wanted to settle down and open a business. After opening, then selling, multiple businesses, she was introduced to Arizona wines and found her true calling. In 2022, she took that passion for locally made wines and opened The Wine Collective of Scottsdale. The tasting room and wine shop, located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, features an impressive wall of wine bottles featuring many of the state’s award-winning wineries and their best varietals, as well as wine brands across the globe.
