waking up early. On a brewery day: whatever needs to be done…brewing, cellar work, cleaning, meetings, etc. On a firefighting day: you just never know what is going to happen.

is incredibly supportive of me. I wouldn’t be where I am without my beautiful wife and two fantastic daughters. Growing up the oldest of 3 brothers, it’s nice to have a house full of girls. There are always enough hugs and tears to go around.

The perfect day would be…
waking up early on a tropical island with some fantastic coffee. Going for a run, then scuba diving, then a quick nap after lunch. The afternoon would be spent hiking and exploring with the family, and in the evening we would have a supper by the water with a great sunset. I would be in bed asleep by 9.
My first job was…
selling antiques in a small, Northern Michigan town. I made $1 an hour and worked 40 hours a week. I still don’t know how my mom let me work that job.
My favorite escape…
turning on some old 90’s grunge music and going for a run.
My life…
has been pretty cool. I look back and am a bit amazed at what I have been able to do, and look forward to the chapters yet to be written.
