Married/Single: Married to my beautiful wife, Jamie

City you live in: Mesa

A typical day in my life includes…

exercise in the morning, helping the kids to get to school. Then work. We have different activities in the evening—sometimes helping with the kids, sometimes I have church responsibilities.

I was born…

in Utah.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the weather and the great people.

I’m listening to…

books on tape. I just finished Smarter Faster Better by Charles Duhigg.

My family…

is my beautiful wife Jamie and four wonderful girls.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Warren Buffet.

One thing I cannot live without…

my religion and my family.

When I was younger, I wanted to be

an adventure camp leader.

I’m inspired by…

individuals who have been faced with obstacles or challenges and have worked hard to overcome them. They give me hope.

The one person who motivates me is…

are those who have shown examples of self-discipline. I want to follow those examples of self-discipline.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

more people believing in faith and in a supreme being.

The perfect day would be…

helping others or doing service with my family.

My first job was…

precision concrete cutting; the removal of trip hazards.

My favorite escape…

I really enjoy the mountains.

My life…

is filled with great friends and family who I enjoy spending time with and a lot of fun and adventure.

I’m currently working on…

an app called Tracart, a sort of mentor application. It lets people keep track of a goal and let their mentor know if they’re on track or off track. Right now it is mostly for individuals, but hopefully in the future it can be used for business.

Always…

remember who others are. There’s two ways you can see others. You can see someone as a person who has hopes, dreams, challenges or struggles or you could see people as objects—that’s somebody that’s in your way or somebody that doesn’t even matter. Always remember who others are—that they are people. I’m not any better or any worse than that person. We’re on the same plane just trying to do the best that we can.

Never…

you’re never alone. In anything you do, there are other people that can help you accomplish it.

Favorite Quote…

We don’t discover humility by thinking less of ourselves. We discover humility by thinking less about ourselves.”–Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Biggest Dream…

probably to have a youth leadership adventure camp.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people who aren’t willing to try.
