Title: President

Married/Single: Married

Kids: Six

A typical day in my life includes…

a series of meetings, both scheduled and unscheduled, dealing with client issues, client proposals, staff meetings, changing diapers, dealing with prepubescent teenagers, trying to manage calendars and emails.

I was born…

in 1982 in the middle of a blizzard, in which my mother almost had to deliver me at her in-laws’ house because they were snowed in.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

is when the citrus blossoms are in full bloom and the smell of the desert after the monsoons.

I’m listening to…

books that allow me to expand my horizons professionally learning about those accomplished people I want to emulate.

My family…

is at the heart of my life. Everything I do is to create a world for my children, give them opportunities and ensure that they become productive members of society, so my wife and I can enjoy grandchildren and great grandchildren.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

John Adams.

One thing I cannot live without…

my wife and children.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a professional basketball player.

I’m inspired by…

greatness. Those people that have been able to accomplish great things, like John Adams, who was a key figure in the Declaration of Independence, is awe-inspiring. I am inspired by their tenacity, their greatness and their sheer willpower to get the job done.

The one person who motivates me is…

my wife. She deserves a lot, and so I want to provide that for her.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

to provide everybody the economic opportunities we have – for children to live in safe homes and to have opportunities. I want everyone to have the opportunity to be who they want to be and not be stuck in their circumstances.

The perfect day would be…

a morning on the golf course and an afternoon with my family playing board games, playing football…just being with them.

My first job was…

delivering pizzas for Little Caesars.

My favorite escape…

playing a round of golf by myself.

My life…

is dedicated to making everything that I have better and increasing value for all involved. Whether that’s on the business side by increasing our strength there or in my church helping someone find their spiritual role or whether that’s in the Rotary Club, making the club bigger.

I’m currently working on…

helping my children learn who they are and establishing themselves in the world. And putting in the work for the future of KeatsConnelly for the next 100 years.

Always…

get the job done.

Never…

settle for failure. I will never accept failure as an option.

Favorite Quote…

“Sometimes doing your best is not good enough. Sometimes you must do what is required.” – Winston Churchill

Biggest Dream…

it’s hard to phrase it. I would like to be in the position of going into a store, seeing a woman with several children who is struggling and telling the manager, whatever she buys, it’s on me, without her ever knowing. Or helping the struggling child who hasn’t been afforded many opportunities, and being able to take them under my wing and help them grow into the person they want to be. To be able to pay for the tuition for a child for a school they want to go to but couldn’t afford otherwise. To be able to give back everything I’ve been given and then some.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people not being true to themselves, like giving up too easily or not taking responsibility, or settling for mediocrity. Every person has greatness within themselves. You can’t let yourself not reach your full potential because of the choices you make.
