AZF: What is your “life motto”?
Trust that it’s all going to work out!
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path for you?
I worked for a corporation for many years and learned key life skills on how to work as a team. I have taken those skills into my entrepreneur life..to look for the win/win, all boats can rise, and the importance of each and every employee. You can’t do it alone and when you find good people, lock arms with them and soar together!
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
Have a great structure and employees in place that helps with the day to day running of the business.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
It is hard and there is a lot of self doubt…the inner critic is a beast. It is important to keep a balance. As I get older I am realizing the importance of putting on your mask before helping others. so I eat good food because I feel better, I move my body daily and get out of my head whether it’s pilates, working out or going for a walk, I mediate and read, and I try to do these all as daily practices. Focusing on Wholistic health has made all the difference for me!
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday.
Waking up to rain and coffee with nothing on the schedule for the day!
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
Trust your gut! Your intuition notices things before consciously understand them. As I am getting older, I trust my instincts and intuition in a way that I didn’t when I was younger. I doubted myself…trust yourself…learning self trust is a muscle that can be strengthened and guide you to make decisions that align with who you are and your purpose not only in business but all of life.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
The love of building and creating new things! Trying to make the world a better place through goodness and beauty.
