A typical day in my life includes… work, work, work. 

I was born… to win.

More About Jeff Gottfurcht:
Jeff Gottfurcht is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cyber Dive in Mesa, Arizona. Jeff grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended the University of San Francisco. After graduating, he spent fourteen years working on Wall Street as a Senior Vice President of two leading global financial firms. At the age of 27, in the middle of his Wall Street career, he was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Doctors told him he would inevitably be in a wheelchair by the age of 40 but instead, he was standing at the summit of Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world. He was selected as Man of the Year by the United Nations and their International School for the philanthropic work he does speaking around the country, inspiring kids and adults to push through their obstacles and achieve success. 

After returning from Mount Everest, he followed the story of a young girl who had been sexually assaulted and exploited on social media. It became obvious to him that social media companies were not doing their due diligence to protect children online. In 2019, Gottfurcht partnered with ex-military intelligence officer Derek Jackson, to co-found tech startup, Cyber Dive. Cyber Dive was designed for modern parents that are interested in leveraging social media as a tool to build stronger relationships with their children.

Cyber Dive’s proprietary software has been built by in-house engineers with the purpose of presenting a child’s online data to their parents in a simple and unbiased manner. Presenting data in a neutral way widens the target audience of parents by eliminating the relevance of parenting styles. Cyber Dive encourages the progression of the digital age by not providing restrictive features on the child’s social media accounts but by giving parents the opportunity to get involved.

The company’s mission is to encourage the development of healthy online habits while bridging the digital divide that plagues families all over the world.
