The Phoenix Metropolitan Area is booming. With fantastic economic drivers like manufacturing, bioscience, health care and aerospace, people are relocating from all over the country to Phoenix, Scottsdale, and surrounding cities. Maricopa County is now the nation’s highest in annual population growth. U.S Census Bureau estimates 222 people per day are making Arizona their home. Having personally helped four clients just last month who have come to Arizona to begin new jobs, I can tell you it makes all the difference to follow these steps:

Make sure you have a clear picture of the life you want to live, it’s key to picking the right area for you and your family. This building block is the foundation for everything.
  2. Understand Your Area.  Are there good schools nearby? How far do you have to drive to get to the grocery store? Where is the nearest dining and entertainment? Will this house hold it’s value well for when you go to sell it someday? One of the benefits to working with a real estate professional is you can glean from their knowledge and expertise. As a third generation Phoenix native, I have family that actually named some of the streets here when they established their farms in central phoenix in the 1920s. It’s very important to know and understand the neighborhoods.

Understanding your monthly payment, HOA fees, and taxes can make a difference in making the most of those new opportunities.  Home value is commonly gained when you buy right.
