Valley Interior Designer Launches Arcadia Wallpaper

Now these are some wonder walls. The Arcadia-based interior design firm Jaimee Rose Interiors announced its first-ever line of stylish, custom wallpaper featuring local businesses, landmarks and icons, like Camelback Mountain and a fun flamingo pool float.

Designed by principal Jaimee Rose and local artist Amy Crist, the first offering of wallpaper is a salute to Rose’s own neighborhood of Arcadia and features stylized illustrations of local landmarks and icons. On the list: Postino WineCafé, the Tee Pee Tap Room, Tarbell’s, The Village, The Henry, Camelback Flowershop and Camelback Mountain itself. There’s also a bicycle, a nod to Arcadia High School, and a rendering of that secret owl sign to honor The Little Woody. Rose even included a flamingo pool float and a Champagne bucket. The paper was  illustrated by Crist, a native Arizonan, is available on four color backgrounds (white, black, gray and navy blue).

“I believe in homes that feel personal,” says Rose, in a press release. “I also believe in local love. I started thinking about all the places we see each other, the places we meet up, the local business owners we support and have an emotional connection to. They’re the background of our life. We celebrate birthdays at The Henry. We survive Mondays by meeting friends for bruschetta at Postino. I wanted to spin all these moments and memories into something that can also be the background of our homes–in a very cheeky and fun way, of course.”

The talented duo are hard at work on wallpaper tributes to Gilbert and Central Phoenix, coming shortly to JaimeeRose.com.
