Camelot Homes has officially broken ground on Villas II, the second and final phase of its luxury lock-and-leave community within the prestigious Seven Desert Mountain golf enclave.
The ceremony, held September 9, marked a major milestone for both Camelot Homes and the Desert Mountain master-planned community. Joined by Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky, members of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from Desert Mountain Club, the Camelot team turned the first shovels of dirt to signal the start of construction.
Located within one of the nation’s most acclaimed golf communities, Villas II follows the success of the original Villas phase, bringing back two award-winning floorplans designed by Robert Hidey Architects. The homes range from 2,768 to 3,305 square feet and include two to four bedrooms and 3.5 to 4.5 bathrooms, offering luxury living with a low-maintenance lifestyle.
Each homesite backs directly onto No. 7 at Desert Mountain, the USGA-rated, 18-hole par-54 championship golf course that anchors the Seven community. The course debuted in 2019 and was the first new addition to Desert Mountain’s golf portfolio in nearly 20 years.
“With homes set against the greens of No. 7 and access to unmatched amenities, Villas II is quite an opportunity,” Co-Owner Julie Hancock said. “It’s also the last chance to own a new home in this community.”
Buyers will have access to three tiers of membership at the exclusive Desert Mountain Club, offering perks such as a world-class spa and fitness center, tennis complex, private hiking and biking trails, seven golf courses, and 10 unique restaurants and grills – subject to membership approval.
