Samuel Anthony Harwit and Erik Velasquez, the couple behind the lifestyle blog, TheFrenchyToast. com, proves that a couple that works together, stays together. Harwit and Velasquez have been together for four years after a chance encounter in an elevator in Las Vegas. “As I got in, I immediately noticed Erik and couldn’t take my eyes off of him so I started talking,” says Harwit. “We ended up grabbing coffee, which led to me spending my last few hours in town with him. Before we said goodbye, he caught me off guard by inviting me to spend a week with him in Hawaii. [Saying yes] was the best decision I’ve ever made, and we’ve spent almost every day together since.” The couple started their blog two years ago, which spotlights their French bulldogs, travels and perspective on style, and are gearing up for the launch of their first design collaboration. “I recently designed my first pair of sneakers for KOIO,” says Harwit. “They will be launching this month, and I am thrilled to share that we will be having our official launch party here in Scottsdale!” @TheFrenchyToast
