From the top businesses and professionals to the people who make it all happen, Arizona Foothills Magazine’s annual Best of Our Valley contest recognizes Arizona’s crème de la crème across more than 400 categories. From the best doctors and best resort down to the best cup of coffee you can find around town, each Best of titleholder is chosen by those who know the city best – our readers.

Winners will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Arizona Foothills Magazine, a tell-all guide to the best people and places in the Valley of the Sun, as chosen by its residents.

Karma Apple (KA): Karma Apple is a 100% organic, plant-based, gluten and refined sugar free juicery located just south of downtown Gilbert. We offer smoothies and bowls, juices, adaptogenic lattes, raw pastries, and grab-and-go salads. The shop has a friendly atmosphere and is a safe place for people with common dietary restrictions and allergies; and is a great destination for anyone looking for vibrant, delicious food that makes you feel great.
KA: It’s so exciting to receive this in our first year of business! We are a small family owned business and we put our heart into everything we do at the shop. KA: We’re extremely proud of the food we serve, and it’s exciting to know that the valley loves our smoothie bowls too! We have 16 flavors of smoothie bowls, including acai, all topped with house-made gluten-free raw granola, fresh fruit, cacao nibs, coconut and edible flowers. What better way to get those daily fruit servings in, than with a huge organic smoothie bowl, like the Arizona Sunrise Bowl shown above.
