Best of Our Valley 2019 Spotlight: Farm & Craft, ‘Best Gluten-Free Menu’

For over the past 20 years, we’ve celebrated the Valley’s best. From the top businesses and professionals to the people who make it all happen, Arizona Foothills Magazine’s annual Best of Our Valley contest recognizes Arizona’s crème de la crème across more than 400 categories. From the best doctors and best resort down to the best cup of coffee you can find around town, each Best of titleholder is chosen by those who know the city best – our readers.

Each week, we’ll be highlighting individual winners from Best of Our Valley 2019, who share their advice, insights and thoughts on what it means to be a part of this exclusive list. Winners will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Arizona Foothills Magazine, a tell-all guide to the best people and places in the Valley of the Sun, as chosen by its residents.

AFM: In a brief 2-3 sentences, please tell us a little bit about Farm & Craft –
Darryl Cuilla (DC), President of Farm & Craft
: Farm & Craft is focused on healthy and sustainable food in a community-style atmosphere. Think modern farm with a contemporary twist. A full-service restaurant at night and a fast-casual environment during the day. The idea behind the concept was that we wanted there to be a place to go where both the conscious healthy eater and the non-discriminate could both eat at. Our team lives a healthy lifestyle and hope that we can share that experience with our guests. We created an ethos ingredient card that in our opinion constitutes the four main categories of a healthy diet; Antioxidant, Stress relief, Probiotic rich and Anti-inflammatory.

AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?
DC: We are grateful to be included among the great list of winners this year. It’s an honor to be recognized for our menu.

AFM: What’s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley’s Best Gluten-Free Menu?
DC: That we get to share what got us the win, our great gluten free healthy menu options. Our fans love it and so do we.

AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?
DC: Definitely! Being included in the prestigious local community of great people and businesses is an honor. We strive to be unique and provide exceptional food and customer service so its nice to be recognized and share this win with our fans.

AFM: How do you put your “best” foot forward every day?
DC: Working hard, treating our staff and guests well and giving back as much as we get.
