2011 Jeep Wrangler Mojave is made for Desert Exploration

When Phoenix Arizona residents describe their love for the valley, the points of the conversation tend to center around the environment.  Sure, downtown Phoenix is undergoing a massive revitalization, and the Roosevelt Arts District is one of the most unique creative communities in the country, but by and large, the desert is what draws people to this hot city.  Soaring heat and red volcanic rock formations thrust through the Phoenix Arizona sky in a way that makes the Phoenix Valley area unlike any other place in the world.  Beyond Phoenix and Arizona, the great American desert southwest as a whole is a beautiful and rugged region waiting to be explored.  Jeep has recognized this with the it’s recent unveiling of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Mojave.

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler Mojave debuted today at the 2011 New York International Auto Show to high acclaim.  Light desert brown colored and with lizard logos placed in several parts of the vehicle, this is a special edition Wrangler, a Jeep themed for southwestern desert adventure and exploration.  This Mojave special edition follows a growing Jeep SE tradition, the company having already produced special edition themed Jeeps such as the Islander, Mountain, and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Based on the Wrangler Sport model, the Wrangler Mojave gets a body-colored roof and fender flares, custom decals, and the Sahara model’s side steps. Customers can also pick an aggressive Wrangler Rubicon tire and wheel package, with mineral gray 17-inch wheels shod with 32-inch tires.  Standard color options include Sahara Tan, Bright White and Black.

The interior features seats trimmed in dark saddle leather with a lizard logo embossed on the front seats.  A finely crafted driftwood trim surrounds the vents, front-passenger grab handle, steering-wheel spokes and door-handle inserts, and Mopar adds some tread pattern slush mats and overhead grab handles.

Being made in Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Mojave will arrive at Phoenix Arizona dealerships this June. The price starts out at $29,945 including destination.

Phoenix Arizona auto enthusiasts can view and test drive the new 2011 Jeep Wrangler Mojave at any of the Phoenix Valley Jeep dealers.
