Jennifer Aniston & Gerard Butler in W Magazine

Does anyone else feel like Gerard and Jen are being shoved down our necks a bit? Yes he’s hot and yes she wants us all to know all the time that she is hot, but it makes me wonder…. Does the studio know that their movie The Bounty Hunter isn’t necessarily going to break box office records so they are trying to capitalize on their somewhat sizzling affair?

The first real sightings of the couple together got the press talking after all that Golden Globe cuddling and kissing on the red carpet. And maybe that jet -set trip to Mexico for Miss Anistons 41st birthday kept them talking. Then, of course last week the two showed up at the NYC premier of the Bounty Hunter looking all cozy and even starry eyed on her part. Of course the lovely Jennifer always denies every rumor of dating her co-stars but we can guess the truth about that Jen (remember Vince Vaughn?).

Possibly the best thing the two have done is the steamy, sultry spread in W Magazine. I wonder…could this be revenge for that Brangelina spread back in 2005 The cover itself is eye catching enough, nay for the odd and somewhat wimpy look in Aniston’s eyes. (But I do love that Alberta Ferreti dress) I’m not sure if it’s photo shop or if she really just doesn’t know how to be sincere for a still camera with her clothes on… but Mr Butler is looking rugged and fine as usual.

On the inside…I must say Steven Klein and his team just tore it up with the smoldering “Speed Trap” photos…. Yes, he’s the same photog that shot the infamous Brad and Angie spread. Aniston inside the car in a Fendi silk dress and Agent Provocateur garter set with Wolford tights… very 1970’s Faye Dunaway! Then There’s Mr Butler in his “bad” cop uniform looking as brooding as ever.

Klein known for his amazing lighting, gave the shoot an authentic feeling of an indie getaway movie made famous in the 60’s and 70’s like Bonnie and Clyde, or Sugarland Express (one of Goldie Hawn’s first acting masterpieces).

Or even the cult classic Vanishing Point from 1971 either way the images are to die for and Aniston couldn’t look better… Chris Mc Millan her hair guru created chunky texture by leaving her hair dirty rather than her normally straight glossy locks ( I say keep it up Jen it works for you)

One shot in an Oscar de la Renta embroidered nylon Chantilly lace dress and sky scrapper high Alejandro heels made me re-think Stetson hats… seriously.
The final shot in a Dolce & Gabbana silk lace top, silk jacquard body suit and culottes made her yoga-tight body look amazing and even made me want to run out and buy a lace top asap! Log onto wmagazine.com to shop the looks from the story

  1. I like Gerard.. but Jennifer Aniston is boring to me on camera. I think Friends was her only on-screen success.

    Was this movie even good?

  2. There has been tons of mean remarks concerning Jennifer Aniston doing the rounds on the internet of late. I believe she appears wonderful, particularly following losing a few pounds.

  3. I think Jennifer Aniston is the best. Her character Rachel Green was so well played that I loved her even when she was a selfish young girl. She’s gorgeous in any attire, even the most ridiculous ones.
