Color in Motion: Polo Ralph Lauren & Navajo Weaver Naiomi Glasses’s Latest Collection Benefits Phoenix Children’s

Phoenix Children’s Foundation is honored to announce their partnership in the second drop of the Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses Collection.

Glasses, a former patient of Phoenix Children’s and seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) textile artist is proud to give back to the foundation which supported her time while at the hospital to undergo a bilateral cleft palate repair. She now has the honor of serving as an advisor for the Phoenix Children’s Center for Cleft & Craniofacial Care

As Glasses endured bullying throughout her childhood due to the condition, she found comfort and community through skateboarding which inspired her designs for the Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses: “Color in Motion” collection, which launched in March.

The collaboration donates a percentage of the proceeds from collection sales toward the Phoenix Children’s Foundation’s Patient and Family Assistance Fund for Native American Families and the Center for Cleft & Craniofacial Care.

Funds collected are projected to alleviate financial barriers like transportation, housing, and treatment costs for both Indigenous patients and their families, as well as those seeking cleft and craniofacial treatment at the hospital.

“We are extremely touched that Naiomi Glasses, a former patient of Phoenix Children’s, and Ralph Lauren Corporation are dedicated to giving back to the very foundation that treated her as a child,” says Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer at Phoenix Children’s Foundation. “Proceeds from their stunning work will be making a notable impact on Phoenix Children’s Foundation for Indigenous families as well as the Center for Cleft and Craniofacial Care.”

One of the nation’s leading pediatric health systems, Phoenix Children’s Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization offering 170-plus family-centered care programs fully or partially funded by philanthropy. The foundation’s mission is to advance hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.
