Glory for Girls Skincare Line

Other than shoes of course, if there’s anything I’ve always been all about, it’s skincare. I’m a total beauty junkie with a skincare and makeup drawer that would probably scare you. I literally have four-plus baskets of overflowing goodies on top of what’s already in my medicine cabinet–it’s the best.

But no matter how many items I may be stashing, I’m still always on the lookout for the newest, hottest, latest. And the newest, hottest, latest that’s recently come to my attention is the Glory for Girls skincare line for young girls.

Glory for Girls was founded in 2007 and offers all-natural skincare targeted toward the teen and tween set. It was developed by Brittany Clotfelter who came up with the idea after her daughter came home with beauty and skincare products from a party that caused her skin to break out. Clotfelter found the products were loaded with chemicals, artificial colors and fragrances and saw a void in the market for fresh, fun all-natural skincare products for girls.

The Glory for Girls line of products is scientifically formulated and allergy tested. All the packaging is recyclable and all the formulas are biodegradable and made in the U.S. Some of the key ingredients found in the products include rich antioxidants like green tea and pomegranate extracts, chamomile and acai fruit extracts.

Here’s a list of some of the products they carry and what they do.

Everyday face & body lotion

A light and refreshing lotion free of parabens and artificial ingredients. Plus it’s loaded with antioxidants, essential oils and chamomile to help soothe redness and sensitive skin.

  1. That’s fantastic that these products are all-natural…parabens and chemicals that are in beauty products are so toxic for the skin, and it’s great to start out young girls on the right skincare path!

  2. Coconut and pom are my two favorite things–sign me up. Though it is targeted to a younger audience, I think adults could totally use this stuff.

  3. This sounds great, but I think I’m past the acne/puberty stage of life. I’m now sadly looking at age-defying skincare treatments 🙁

  4. There seems to always be some new product out on the market! Even though I already have a great face product, the grapefruit lip balm sounds delicious! I love flavored lip balm. The design of the packaging on this product is pretty neat too!
