Tanzy Restaurant at Scottsdale Quarter is introducing a special Bacardi Rum Flight in honor of rum month. Sample the best in Bacardi rums – Bacardi Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron, Bacardi 8 and Bacardi Reserva Limitada–for $14 per flight. The Tanzy Restaurant Rum Flights can be enjoyed daily through the end of August.
From Monday, August 15, through Saturday, August 20, Christopher’s Restaurant & Crush Lounge Executive Chef and Owner Christopher Gross will prepare a three-course French dining menu in honor of the August 15 birthday of late esteemed chef, author and television personality Julia Child, whom he worked alongside years ago on her groundbreaking PBS television series as an up-and-coming chef.  To reserve a spot for this limited-time-only French meal, make a reservation by calling 602.522.2344 and mentioning “Julia Child.” Seatings are available for $39 per person plus tax and gratuity and wine pairings are available for an additional $20.
La Bocca Urban Kitchen + Wine Bar on High Street is now offering a “Date Night” dinner package. Now available every Thursday, the prix fixe menu includes a select bottle of red or white wine, a full bruschetta board, one chef’s pizza to share and a dessert for $39 per couple.
Shake Shack is now dishing up the limited-time offer, Bacon CheddarShack Fries ($4.69), on the menus at both Arizona locations. Enjoy Shake Shack’s signature crinkle-cut fries topped with smoked Niman Ranch bacon and Wisconsin aged cheddar cheese sauce. Even tastier, pair your Bacon CheddarShack Fries with another limited time special, the Bacon CheddarShack Burger featuring an all-natural Angus beef hamburger topped with smoked Niman Ranch bacon and Wisconsin aged cheddar cheese sauce.
Now through August 14, when individuals take a selfie or video of themselves enjoying their favorite aguas frescas drink from Food City and post it to their Instagram page with #FCaguasfrescas, they will be automatically entered to win free aguas frescas for the entire month of September. Individuals are encouraged to tag friends on their Instagram post for bonus entries. Every friend that is tagged, up to 10 people, will result in an additional entry. Three winners will be randomly drawn and announced on August 15 from all of the Instagram entries. Winners will receive a customized Food City gift card to redeem their free aguas frescas drinks during the month of September.

With hatch green chile season here, Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill is ready to debut their 12th annual Fall Feast Menu. The menu runs now through October 15 and includes the hatch green chile burger, green chile queso, cornmeal-crusted center-cut filet and more.

Scramble – A Breakfast Joint in Scottsdale announces the launch of nitro cold brew coffee on tap from local purveyor Espresso Italia. Espresso Italia’s cold-brew coffee on tap is infused with nitrogen gas, which is released through a pressurized valve with tiny holes. As high pressure forces the cold brew past a disc, it creates a creamy, stout-like effect. Scramble is one of first restaurants in the Valley to serve this highly caffeinated summer refresher, which is available for $4.69 for 12 ounces.
Macayo’s is celebrating Team USA this year by hosting their own Macayo Games for everyone to enjoy special discounts on some of their favorite menu items and drinks (think specially priced margaritas and Mex-n-Match plates), now through August 26.
Try the Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake by Drew Barrymore this month at Sprinkles (pictured). This rich yellow cake is filled with tart, juicy strawberry curd and topped with a pillowy cloud of toasted marshmallow frosting.
