Arizona’s Biggest Kentucky Derby Party Returns to Turf Paradise

The Stella Artois Derby DayClub, Arizona’s premier Kentucky Derby party, is back! Join Derby fans on Saturday, May 4, at the Turf Paradise, at 19th Ave. and Bell Road, to watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby and live local horse racing. Experience the heart-pounding action of the races, extravagant fashion and food, live DJs and much more. 

Produced and organized by The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, the event is America’s most attended and dynamic polo event, prioritizing the combination of fun and excitement with the history and tradition of the Kentucky Derby. 

“It’s our distinct pleasure to be sponsoring and helping to host an event that brings four-legged horsepower to Arizona as we celebrate the fastest two minutes in sports, the Kentucky Derby,” says Patrick Heigl, brand manager of Sanderson Lincoln. “It’s a day of red hot horseracing, cool drinks, beautiful fashion, and fun.”

There are two trackside VIP experiences, as well as general admission. If purchased between now and May 3, general admission tickets cost $50. General admission includes entry to Turf Paradise, betting terminals, no-host bars with a variety of drinks, a DJ and 65” TVs to watch the live events. General admission tickets do not include reserved seating and are $55 at the door on the day of the event. 

The Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge, one of the two trackside VIP experiences, provides guests with tables near the finish line, prime views of races, easy access to betting terminals and other exclusive amenities. Take advantage of the no-host bars serving Mint Juleps, champagne and cocktails. The proximity to the food trucks and 65” TVs ensure guests never miss a beat, while still enjoying the benefits of the lounge. Table prices range from $550 to $1,400, each including a complimentary bottle of champagne. 

The second trackside VIP experience is the Nütrl Vodka Seltzer Pavilion, which will provide guests with a complimentary bucket of Nütrl Vodka Seltzer seltzers and is located conveniently near the betting terminals. Near the finish line, but slightly further off the backstretch, this Pavilion offers guests 65” TVs to watch both races live while enjoying a drink from the no-host bar. Guests can also indulge in the food trucks, which are near the Pavilion. Table prices range from $400 to $525. 

Guests can expect an exciting day of partying and horseracing as well as great food, onsite shopping and a display of Sanderson Lincoln’s top luxury vehicles for 2024. The Stella Artois Derby DayClub presented by Sanderson Lincoln opens at 10:45 a.m., and racing of live thoroughbreds at Turf Paradise begins at 11:30 a.m. and will continue into the late afternoon. The Kentucky Derby will be broadcast live at 3:25 p.m. Arizona time throughout the Derby DayClub’s tent experience.
