Wasted Grain is hosting a 50 Shades of Grain party this Saturday, Feb. 14. Wasted Grain will be giving away four tickets to see “50 Shades of Grey” Friday, as well as four on Saturday. Saturday night, they will be having a bottle drop to every table upstairs in 100 Proof, courtesy of XXIV Champagne. Wasted Grain is also hosting a Facebook “Share it to win it” promotion this week, where they will be giving one lucky Facebook winner four tickets to see the movie.
The Thin Mint Shake, available now at Hopdoddy, is made with crumbles of the iconic Girl Scout Cookie mixed into house made vanilla ice cream with mint-white chocolate sauce and topped with generous mound of whipped cream and Thin Mint Cookie pieces. Available through Feb. 15.
To celebrate Mardi Gras on Tuesday, Feb. 17, Toby Keith’s I love this Bar & Grill will be open on “Fat Tuesday” for southern-inspired dining and entertainment. Mardi Gras celebrators will be able to indulge in a southern comfort dish, bacon-wrapped shrimp and grits. The sharable starter consists of sizable shrimp, cheesy grits and topped with hollandaise sauce. The complements Toby Keith’s signature beer in mason jars and an extensive selection of signature cocktails including TK’s Voodoo Punch. From 8 to 11 p.m., Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Peoria will offer drink specials on $3 domestic drafts, $5 signature shooters and $5 moonshine signature drinks for Mardi Gras.
Sushi Roku at W Scottsdale (pictured) has just rolled out a brand new menu, including grilled octopus, exotic uni udon (Japanese-style sea urchin pasta), hearty braised short rib, king crab lettuce cups, Hakata ramen and more.
Binkley’s first wine dinner of the New Year will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 18. Chef Kevin Binkley will host a special six-course wine dinner with Dukes Family Vineyards of Oregon’s North Willamette Valley. The event is $120 per person, and includes five pinot noir pairings as well as an opening reception rose. Seating begins at 5 p.m. To RSVP, call 480.437.1072.
During Parada del Sol, on Feb. 14, Pink Pony will be opening its doors at 7 a.m. Diners are invited to swing by, grab a seat, sip on a cocktail, and watch the parade pass by. Specials will be available until 4 p.m. and the full lunch menu is also available.
Even after Valentine’s Day is over, North Italia at Kierland Commons will continue to celebrate the story of love with their Love Letter to Italy story contest. For the chance to win dinner for two, submit your love story either in-store or online at www.lovelettertoitaly.com and a winner will be chosen on Saturday, Feb, 21 and contacted via email. One winner will be chosen per restaurant.
Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is opening it’s third location in Chandler–with a fourth location, located off 116th St. and Shea shortly after. Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is offering 500 of its award-winning all-American burger for free next Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m.
