One of the Valley’s most highly anticipated culinary events is back for its 11th year. iHeartMedia Phoenix will present Phoenix Cooks! this Labor Day weekend at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale. On Saturday, Sept. 5, savor eats from some of the Valley’s favorite restaurants, including Top of the Rock, the restaurants of Arizona Biltmore, North Italia, The Greene House and more. Guests will also get to sample beer, wine and spirits.
Sports fans can enjoy the College Football Tailgating Zone where guests can watch the day’s college games while indulging in gourmet tailgating treats and beers (sponsored by Cox Communications). Take time to grab a seat near three live interactive stages that will be hosting a variety of chefs and their own culinary treats will be held every half hour. Chefs will also dual in cook-offs to see who has what it takes to make the best dish using a mystery ingredient
General admission tickets include all food, wine, beer, spirit samplings and stage demonstrations for $85 in advance, $100 at the door and $60 for designated drivers (if available). Classes are an additional $25 per person per class. Proceeds from Phoenix Cooks! benefit Banner Children’s.
