It is hard to believe it has already been a year since Joyride Taco House opened in Downtown Gilbert. To mark the anniversary, Upward Projects is celebrating with five full days of festive food fun, including specials served up all day long from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27.
Take a look at next week’s specials and events (Postino East, Joyride’s neighbor, also joins in the fun):
Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24
Postino: Bottle and Board, $20
Joyride: Kids Eat Free
Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26
Postino: $5 Bruschetta Boards
Joyride: $1 Carne Asada of Veggie Tacos
Friday, June 27
Postino: $5 Glass Pinot Grigio
Joyride: $5 House Margarita
Plus Live Music on the Patio (7 – 9 p.m.)
Best of all, 10 percent of proceeds will go to support Arizona Brainfood, a nonprofit organization that discreetly provides a backpack of food to feed hungry school children on the weekends. www.postinowinecafe.com; www.joyridetacohouse.com.
