A surprising big fall trend this season? Fall florals. I haven’t decided how I feel about it yet, to be honest I’ve never really been too crazy about florals. Every spring it hits as a “trend” and it always always reminds me of Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly, in “The Devil Wears Prada” as she every-so-sarcastically says, “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.”

But for fall? Hmm, this might actually be a bit groundbreaking. I’ll definitely be scouring some fall floral looks in a trend watch for you guys soon, but in the meantime I did happen to stumble upon this Roberto Cavalli floral-print mini dress on Net-a-Porter and I’m totally into it. While the jury’s still out on the fall floral trend, I’m giving, at least this frock, a definite “yes.”

Roberto Cavalli floral-print mini dress, $2,500.

Throw on some tights and booties and you’re set.

Prada ribbed Lana Coste tights in Anthracite, $155.

Gucci Babouska studded bootie, $995
