Well-Being Stone Ritual
The Centre for Well-Being offers more than 70 extraordinary spa services and treatments. Our pick is the Well-Being Stone Ritual. For centuries, Native Americans have revered the healing energies of stones and this ritual honors that tradition by harnessing the power of warm basalt river and cool marble stones. Your therapist will apply gentle pressure to bring relief to sore muscles and joints, melting stress away and taking you to a deep level of relaxation. The weight of the stone is also perfect for rubbing out tense muscles.

Luk Pra Kope
Here at the elegant rejuvination oasis of Sanctuary Spa, experts perform Asain-inspired treatments known to deliver unbelievable results. Luk Pra Kope treatment, meaning “to massage with medicinal herbs,” begins with soaking your feet in a fresh lime and essential-oil bath. After your feet are cooled and exfoliated with fine, white Thai clay and fresh lime, a blend of steamy, organically grown herbs is rolled, massaged and pressed into tight muscles and onto problem areas and energy pathways. Along with Thai massage, the heated compress soothes sore and aching muscles, enhances circulation, reduces joint stiffness and refreshes the skin.

  1. Ooo I want that Seaweed Wrap…I’ve had an algae body mask before and my skin was seriously softer for days. I can only imagine what this would do!

  2. Oh my goodness that tub in the picture looks so relaxing and beautiful! It has my name all over it!!!

  3. I was sold on the Brown Sugar Oasis. And to think, I have not had the opportunity to pamper myself in months.

  4. i bet these treatments are bettre priced than usual too – its seems even the luxury treatments are a bit cheaper now due to this economy.

  5. Skip the Sanctuary. It is the most overrated and overpriced spa in the Valley. The common areas are cramped, noisy and undermaintained, and the staff is less than receptive and unorganized. Your best bet is Alvadora Spa at the Royal Palms (amazing therapists and site), the Spa at Camelback Inn (you can reserve your own private poolside cabana for the day and enjoy the Spa Cafe’s menu in between treatments), or even the Red Door at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park. This gem of a spa is so worth the drive out to experience the custom facials, four different relaxation lounges and spa pool.

  6. Luk Pra Kope at Sanctuary sounds awesome!! I also need to check out Alvadora Spa at the Royal Palms- I’ve never been there.
