Work & Stay: A Childcare & Coworking Space is Launching in Scottsdale

As the cost of childcare continues to climb and remote work remains the norm for many professionals, a new Scottsdale-based venture is reimagining work-life balance with an innovative solution for parents. Launching August 1, Work & Stay is a concept that combines coworking space with licensed, curriculum-based childcare for children aged 18 months to 5 years.

Located in the Talking Stick Entertainment District, Work & Stay is the latest evolution from the team behind the popular indoor play facility Play & Stay. The new venture is the brainchild of Scottsdale entrepreneur and mother of three, Danielle Huppler, who saw a need for a space that supports both professional productivity and high-quality early childhood care.

“I often found myself searching for a space where my children could learn and play safely while I had the freedom to focus, but it simply didn’t exist,” Huppler said. “Work & Stay is created for today’s parents who are balancing professional responsibilities with the demands of raising young children.”

For adults, the coworking area features high-speed internet, private cubicles, soundproof meeting pods, a community kitchen with complimentary coffee, a water fill station, and livestream video access to all childcare rooms. For children, care is led by experienced educators trained in early education, behavioral management, curriculum-based play and emotional regulation. Weekly-updated curriculum fosters developmental growth, social interaction and cognitive learning in a secure and engaging environment.

Membership options are tailored to fit a variety of schedules and budgets. The Co-Working Lounge Membership begins at $350 per month for one child and includes up to 40 hours of childcare per month, offering flexibility without reserved time slots. The Half-Day Morning or Afternoon Membership, starting at $500 per month, provides up to 90 hours of care with guaranteed time slots and a dedicated workstation.

For those seeking a more private and full-day solution, the Private High-Wall Cubicle Membership offers up to 160 hours of childcare and exclusive use of a 10x10x10 cubicle with locking doors, L-shaped desk and storage, starting at $1,100 per month.

“The goal of Work & Stay is to offer parents a distraction-free space to be productive while their children receive high-quality care just steps away,” said Huppler. “It’s a practical, cost-effective solution to the rising expense and logistical challenges of traditional childcare.”

Work & Stay will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Families interested in learning more can visit workandstayaz.com or follow @work_and_stayaz on Instagram for announcements.
