Uptown Alley, a 60,000-square-foot multi-concept entertainment destination, is preparing for its grand reopening following a transformative $6.5 million renovation. Slated to reopen at the end of May, the revamped venue will debut state-of-the-art technology and innovative gaming experiences, ushering in a new era of entertainment while maintaining its family-friendly atmosphere in the West Valley.
Phase one of the project concluded this spring, encompassing the installment of 20 new virtual reality and arcade games, plus several tech-forward offerings including the below (pricing for each available here):
Krazy Darts
The first of its kind in Arizona, Krazy Darts is an exclusive attraction that features a massive 98-inch diagonal target board, automatic scoring, and game formats ranging from classic dart boards to carnival-style games. To elevate the action, high-quality laser projectors create high-res, brightly illuminated target displays with easy-to-understand games.
HD Sportsuite
HD SportSuite transforms any space into a dynamic sports and gaming arena with over 30 interactive experiences, including soccer, hockey, baseball, even large game hunting. Its pinpoint accuracy and realism make every game immersive, while customizable settings ensure fun for all skill levels.
Lucky Putt
Lucky Putt re-imagines this classic game for interactive, challenge-based play. With an all-day pass available for $25 or $12 per nine holes, Lucky Putt blends custom FX lighting, sound, and robotics to create surprise events, bringing the course to life. Scoring is completely automated and challenge-driven, following players from hole to hole after they simply scan the putter, while sensors track the movement of the ball.
Limitless VR
Limitless VR is an immersive, free-roam virtual reality attraction that integrates physical props and barriers within the play area, allowing guests to move untethered through diverse virtual realms like frozen wastelands, humid jungles, and orbital stations. The system’s open-air design also enables spectators to observe all the action.
The Voice Karaoke Experience
Rentable for groups of up to 12 guests, this AI Experience is the ultimate private karaoke attraction that brings the excitement of “The Voice” straight to guests. Step inside and feel like a true contestant on the world’s most famous music talent show, with a virtual presenter guiding through the process, high-quality instrumental mixing, and professional vocal correction. After singing, receive a professionally mastered video with real scenes from “The Voice,” making it feel like you’re on the actual show.
Since its opening in 2012, Uptown Alley has served as one of Surprise’s top entertainment destinations, offering an elevated experience that appeals to guests of all ages. The venue remained open during construction, offering guests bowling lanes, an expansive arcade with over 60 games, and a restaurant and bar designed for celebrating in style.
The final phase of the project, concluding this summer, will include the installation of solar panels in the parking lot and covered parking, exterior painting and the removal of several interior walls in an effort to make the layout more open concept, in line with other entertainment destinations.
