Panda Fest Brings Cultural & Culinary Celebrations to Phoenix

Asian cuisine, art, and performance are coming to the Valley this fall. Panda Fest, one of the largest outdoor Asian food and cultural festivals in the U.S., will make its Phoenix-area debut November 21-23 at Salt River Fields. The event promises a sensory-rich experience featuring more than 120 food vendors, 30+ artisans, and cultural performances inspired by countries including China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and beyond.

Founded by BiuBiu Xu, the creator behind New York City’s popular Dragon Fest, Panda Fest began as a one-day pop-up. It evolved into a national, multi-city celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) cultures. After sold-out stops in major cities like Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, Phoenix marks the final stop of Panda Fest’s 2025 tour.

“The Panda Fest team is thrilled to offer hard-to-access authentic flavors from across the globe to Valley foodies and families,” said Xu. “If you’re craving sights, smells, and spices from home, or looking to appreciate culture through supporting Asian artists and performers, Panda Fest offers something for everyone.”

Panda Fest will offer a full culinary journey through Asia, with food vendors showcasing both traditional and fusion cuisine. From sizzling street food to region-specific specialties, the offerings will highlight the richness and variety of Asian culinary traditions.

Guests can explore an artisan marketplace featuring handmade crafts, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Traditional art forms like sugar painting, calligraphy, and paper cutting will be featured, along with contemporary entertainment such as K-pop dance performances, lion dances, theatrical shows, and more.

True to its name, Panda Fest will also feature plenty of panda-themed fun. A 15-foot inflatable panda, panda bounce ring, themed treats, and exclusive souvenirs will offer family-friendly entertainment and plenty of Instagrammable moments.

All general admission tickets ($14) include entry and two complimentary gifts: a panda-themed pin exclusive to the Phoenix event and an inflatable headband. For guests looking to upgrade their experience, $35 VIP tickets offer perks like shaded seating, VIP restrooms, exclusive experiences, access to a private bar, and a branded Panda Fest tote bag.
