Kim Kardashian’s Fairy Tale Wedding

Kim Kardashian said “I do” to her basketball pro fiancé Kris Humphries under a gorgeous sunset ceremony held at a private estate in Montecito Saturday evening. The couple tied the knot at 6:30 p.m. sharp in a 30-minute service watched over by families and friends.

Around 450 special guests inclusive, celebrity attendees included Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Avril Lavigne, Demi Lovato and Venus and Serena Williams.

The bride wore an ivory custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and “epic” train.

The bridal designer Tweeted: “Wow! @KimKardashian What a joyous, beautiful, magical night! Wishing you and Kris all the blessings in the world xx Vera,” after the ceremony.

E! Online reported that the bride wore her hair up and off her face with her veil remaining off her face for the walk down the aisle with step father Bruce Jenner. A jeweled headpiece with diamonds that “dripped on to Kim’s forehead.”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner were the bridesmaids with Kim’s matron and maid of honor, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.

Following the ceremony, the action moved to a separate tent with the bride changing into a second Vera Wang mermaid gown, featuring even more gorgeous Chantilly lace on the bodice and hand-cut organza petals on the skirt.

Soul singer Robin Thicke introduced “Mr and Mrs Humphries” and sang his song “Angels” for the couple’s first memorable dance as husband and wife.

Dancing went until about 1:30 a.m., with guests shuttled to hotels in Santa Barbara. The New York Post estimated the couple may have pulled in up to $17.9 million by selling rights to a TV special and exclusives, including the engagement announcement and wedding photos, and accepting comped items such as the bride’s three Wang dresses, the wedding invitations, the cake and Champagne.

Rumor has it Kim’s wedding is in dress to ‘I do’ competition with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s. With photos and further deets unveiled later this week, do you think Kim’s stands a chance to rival Kate’s?

  1. lol, i love Kim Kardashian! Unlike many who hate her.I actually pray that she has the the best marriage. Celebrity marriages usually dont go well, but i really need her to not let the fame get to her head fo the sake of her marriage. This goes for Kris aswell.
