Glitz and Glamour at Fashion’s Night Out

From around the world, fashion obsessives and aesthetic lovers gathered for a worldwide event solely known as Fashion’s Night Out.

The block party-style New York original shopping event stormed the Valley on Thursday night. Stylish guests found discounts, trunk shows, fashion shows, gifts with purchase and appetizers galore at shopping centers Scottsdale Fashion Square, Kierland Commons, Biltmore Fashion Park and Chandler Fashion Center.

Shoppers peruse bejeweled goodies at FNO Neiman Marcus, Scottsdale Fashion Square

Saks at Biltmore Fashion Park invited stores from the luxury shopping center’s community into its gilded doors. While perusing the latest trends to beats by DJ Peabody, guests enjoyed culinary delights from Black Chile Grille, Seasons 52, California Pizza Kitchen, Haagen-Daz and Christopher’s & Crush Lounge. In cosmetics, shoppers stopped at professional lipologist Pam Fox’s lip reading stand to discover a professional lip print reading only to then mosey on over for a quick mini-mani with Chanel’s limited edition denim-inspired nail varnish. Models from The Agency Arizona helped inspire shoppers, modeling the latest trends for fall in beauty, hair and ready to wear. iPad kiosks sponsored by AOL allowed shoppers to check in and test their fall fashion IQ with Stylelist, the source for the latest fashion news and trends, for the chance to win Saks gift cards.

Meanwhile, Scottsdale Fashion Square featured “Fashionista Stations” at Nieman Marcus where shoppers had their pictures taken while shopping for the season’s latest. Ted Baker offered shoppers complimentary champagne and a free tote bag with purchase.  At Chandler Fashion Center, beauty mavens snagged 25 percent off any purchase at Pebbles Swimwear. Over at Kierland Commons, Coach served up delicious snacks while Lather pampered guests with free mini-facials on site.

With that jumpstarting my anticipation for fall trends (now the weather just needs to follow suit), I can hardly wait for the hundreds of spring/summer 2012 collections to be showcased at New York Fashion Week this week!
