Get Spooked: Halloween Haunted Houses in Phoenix 2013

Get ready for hair-raising chills and bloodcurdling screams when you check out one or more of these hot Halloween haunted houses in Phoenix!

13th Floor Phoenix
What: The folks over at 13th Floor haunted house wonder why most high-rise buildings don’t have that mysterious 13th floor. At 60,000 square feet, take a fear-gripping walk through two haunted houses filled with freaky and grotesque characters.
When: Open from 7 p.m. to either 10 p.m. or midnight most days, depending on the day. Be sure to double-check the online calendar.
Where: 2814 W. Bell Road, Phoenix.
Admission: $24.99 for general admission.

AZ Field of Screams
What:
As you walk through a darkened cornfield hearing blood-curdling screams, anticipate in fear what awaits you around the corner. AZ Field of Screams is a classic haunted cornfield maze that’s planted over an eerie old cemetery, where the dead are just waiting to seek revenge on any trespasser.
When: 7-11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 4-31 and Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Where:
Tolmachoff Farms, 5726 N. 75th Ave., Glendale.
Admission:
Tickets are $16 each.

Arizona’s Original Scream Park
What:
Get spooked at four haunted houses all at once at Arizona’s Original Scream Park. Haunts include Horror High and Zombie Infirmary, two brand new haunted houses, and the classic Clown Town of Terror and Goldminer’s Revenger. If you need to give your adrenaline a break, shop glowing accessories and body jewelry at the Mon-Store Booth or get your palm read at the Psychic Corner.
When:
7-10p.m. weekdays, 7 p.m.-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays
Where:
8823 E. McDowell Road, Scottsdale.
Admission:
$29 for all four haunted attractions, $9.95 for Speed Pass that grants express line entry into all haunts.

The House on Camino
What:
You’ll forget that you’re in a two-car garage when exploring the likes of a haunted mansion or checking into a creepy nightmare motel at this Mesa home.
When: 6:30-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26-27; 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
Where: 4055 E. Camino St., Mesa.
Admission: Free; however, donations of clothes, toys and money will be donated to the Mesa Child Crisis Center.

Dark Scares Haunted Attraction
What:
Voted as AFM’s Best Haunted House last year, explore a brand new floor of the hotel this year that will feature new rooms and dangers around every corner.
When: Oct. 11-Nov. 2 with varying times.
Where: 1900 E. University Drive.
Admission: Adults are $20 each, while children 14 or younger are $15 each.
